I have been posting on Active Rain for over a year now and it did take me that long to finally figure out how to post photos with wrap around text, change font color and font size. LOL, I've been staring at the HTML tab in the postlet forever, not the least concerned with what its purpose was. I tried posting my text in the HTML tab but that sort of didn't work. I knew HTML back in the old days before everything was so darn complicated. Hubby figured I would need an HTML editor to write my posts, add pictures, edit my text etc. and then copy/paste it into the HTML tab on Active Rain. |
| Well, here I am, being able to position my photos, formatting my text: Let's try something in RED. Wow, I like that! Now, PINK, ORANGE, PURPLE. I love it, no more boring posts! No more same ol', same ol'. Blogging became just more addictive now that I have all these creative possibilies to play with! If you have any tips and tricks how to make posts appear more colorful, neat and creative, please share... |

Hm, now that I have "mastered" the art of colorful text, I shall learn how to get rid of the table borders. I did in the html editor but they still show up here.............
DAAAARRRRRIIIIINNNNNNNNN.............................
I thought you were giving tips. I now know how to get pitcures on but still would like to be able to write in colors. If you find out how, let me know. Veronica
Wow Andrea, this looks really good. Where do you get a HTML editor from? The caladiums look pretty also. Are they yours?
Veronica, I was going to follow up with a fully blown tutorial....but I'm still learning as I go. As of now, I'm using an html editor to "style" my posts with color, then I copy the source code into my blog here.
Sondra, hubby downloaded it for free from www.zdnet.com. Mine is called Nvu. Didn't take long to install. However, I'm sure there's another way to get colorful posts. I'm searching...............
I have yet to make soi much of what I want to work work. I am a great creative spirit stuck in a technically challenged mind
I'll have to try it. And if you find a better version in the interim, let us know. Thanks!!!
